My Professional Experience

 

1976   Joined “On Safari Realtors”, then located on Tapo Street, to

learn the business and was fortunate to be recognized as a top     listing and sales agent in the first year!

 

1977  With my husband, opened our first real estate company – “Valley Homes Realtors”, then on Los Angeles Avenue, leading in top listings and sales, and learned how to own and operate a real estate company

 

1980  Opened “The Real Estate Store” on First Street while continuing to be a top agent in listings and sales

 

1990  “The Real Estate Store” became Century 21 Hilltop which grew to have the following three locations to serve my clients best:

In my real estate career, I have listed and closed escrows on over 6,000 properties. Most of my expertise has been in residential real estate which also includes investment properties or rental income properties, 1031 tax free exchanges, raw land, commercial property including leasing, business opportunities, and residential leasing. I also do a lot of work through our full time Relocation Department, relocating families to area outside of Simi Valley, anywhere in the world.

 

In the years when interest rates accelerated to 18%, I was able to use creative financing, all-inclusive deeds of trust, land contracts, and VA and FHA financing as some of the only avenues allowing my clients the opportunity to purchase a home.

 

In the scope of my past 30 years in real estate, I have also dedicated time to our local Board of Realtors serving on both the Ethics Committee and the Professional Standards Committee, and at times, been the Chairwoman for both.

 

I have over 1,000 personal clients that I stay in contact with on a regular basis, continually servicing their real estate needs. And it is through them that I work with their referrals for prospective clients.
